Tricky Dog Graduates

DeanneReggie
We did an excellent session at Lo Quay today. He was soooo good (lots of people and no dogs which was a good balance)
Not much barking at all. Much more pleasant. Just got back from a walk, came across a greyhound and I chatted to the owner. Reggie showed no interest at all. I dragged it out for about 5 minutes and he literally calmly lay on the ground with his back to the dog. I was so happy. Two other dogs with no reaction (a bit further away). Progress for sure.
AsiriJeanie (reactivity)
Can't thank you enough for what you've done! In one sessions, you've completely turned Jeanie around and the pulling and barking is a tenth of what is was below. She's doing really well with that lead and seems way more relaxed!

JackieMax and Ruby
I was lucky enough to hear about Eve’s dog training expertise via a friend. I have two dogs, both with separate issues - both reactive at the front door, generally ignoring commands, and Ruby with a fear of leaving the house. Not only do I have voice control at the front door, but I can now walk both dogs on my own - yes, Ruby has developed enough confidence to leave the house; we haven’t been able to do this for years! Thank you Eve!

AnnetteJessie
We contacted Eve as we have a beautiful rescued girl Jessie who definitely has some issues from her life before love. Our main issue was her excited jumping when it’s walk time, food time or we came home. Eve was able to give us as a family some guidance and advice to help us stop this behaviour. Eve also helped to get the whole family on the same page. We are making great progress with Jessie and she is starting to be more settled and we are also making good progress in training the kids to do the same with Jessie instead of hyping her up! Thanks so much Eve for helping out with the kids, two and four legged! definitely 10 out of 10 would recommend Eve for any of you behavioural issues with you furry family. She is professional, friendly and extremely supportive. (Have popped a picture of our two beautiful hounds just because.)

Bec and GabrieleFlash
We were looking for some help with our recently adopted greyhound, Flash. Flash was pulling us all over the place when walking, was very reactive to other dogs, and was a bit antsy at home (he loved to chew our furniture!).
We contacted Eve because we understood she had lots of experience with greyhounds. During our first session with Eve, we could already see a difference in his behaviour.
The change in him was incredible!
After some additional sessions with Eve and consistent work, Flash walks beautifully on the lead, following along with us nicely, and pulling far less than previously. Flash is a lot less reactive now and we have strategies in place to manage this. Thankfully, Flash keeps his chewing to food and toys.
Eve gave us a clear plan, was very happy to answer any questions and helped us to learn more about how dogs think. Since finishing up our training we have still been in contact with Eve who is happy to give us any tips we need. It has been so nice to work with Eve, who is so clearly passionate about dogs. We couldn’t recommend Eve more!

AlbertBobby
I had adopted an ex-racing greyhound Bobby who was reactive to other dogs we met on our walks. He would pull on the lead, jump and bark at them.
I was recommended to contact Eve West of Tricky Dog Training about behaviour modification for Bobby.
After an initial consult, Eve knew and understood why Bobby reacted in such a manner. Then over a period of seven months, she regularly coached Bobby and I until his reactivity was very much reduced and manageable when we meet other dogs in parks and on footpaths.
I am very happy with Eve's training and have no hesitation in recommending her if your dog has behavioural issues.
